All patients at our practice have been allocated a named, accountable GP who has overall responsibility for their care.  If you would like to know which GP this is for you, please ask at Reception.

Community Nurses

Patients who are house bound and who feel they need nursing attention may request a visit from the District Nurse who will assess their need for nursing care. They can be contacted through the surgery. If you need nursing care following hospital treatment the hospital will usually arrange it. If requested, they can also provide yearly health check visits to patients aged over 75 or over who are housebound.

We have a pool of District Nurses shared with other Practices in Scarborough.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received further training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

Attached Staff

Community Healthcare Assistant will support the District Nurses with the care of housebound patients.
