closedIf you require urgent medical assistance which cannot wait until the surgery re-opens please dial 111. Calls to the NHS111 service are free from both landlines and mobiles.  You will be asked for some details of your problem. You will then either:

  1. Have advice given over the telephone
  2. Be telephoned by the emergency doctor on call
  3. Be asked to attend for an appointment at the primary care centre at the hospital
  4. Have an emergency ambulance arranged to take you to hospital.

NHS Direct

In the case of need when the practice is closed you can call NHS Direct (0845 4647) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
