If you are too ill to come to the surgery you can telephone and request a home visit.

Except in an emergency, please telephone between 9.30am and 10.30am as this will help the doctors to plan their rounds.

If you cannot ring the surgery yourself please ask someone to do this on your behalf. They will need to be able to tell us:

    • Your name

    • Your date of birth

    • Address

    • Telephone number

    • A brief description of your symptoms

The need for a home visit will be assessed by a doctor and they may telephone you for more information. Because our doctors have different commitments we cannot guarantee that you will be visited by the doctor of your choice.

Our patients are visited at home where this is essential for their wellbeing and safety.
