WHEN YOU HAVE TO PAY

The great majority of procedures, consultations and services carried out at our Practice are paid for by the NHS. However, where additional procedures and services are provided, we are required to pass on the specific costs to patients.

If you require vaccinations relating to foreign travel the cost is not covered by the NHS. Doctors are often asked to complete reports or certificates on behalf of their patients by employers, solicitors or insurers and we have to charge for these services although in some circumstances, these costs may be met by organisations requesting them.

For more information please see the 'Travel Vaccinations' tab.

All services must be paid for when arranging them. Please notes payments must be in cash.

Some travel companies, countries and insurers require further paperwork in relation to your travel. In the table below you can see our standard charges for these services.

REPORTS, MEDICALS AND SIGNATURES

When it comes to providing non NHS services our Doctors and Nurses will be as helpful as they can be given their current workload. Most of these administration tasks or medical examinations have to be fitting into very busy schedules. Staff will do their best to meet your timescales but be aware that this can sometimes be very difficult, especially when doctors are on holiday, etc. Often what appears to be a simple task, such as a signature on a form, requires a doctor to examine medical records or check facts etc., which all takes time and effort. Please give us as much notice as you can and have realistic deadlines.

Where a medical examination is required please not that different medical examinations need different length appointments. If you want to make an appointment for a medical examination, please tell the receptionist what the examination is for so that they can organise the correct length of appointment for you.
